Treatment Philosophy
Patients cannot be treated in a vacuum with medication alone. For this reason, a holistic assessment is made to identify factors that could contribute to a patient’s problem. This includes analyzing underlying medical conditions, including possible hormonal issues, personal issues in their home environment, along with relationship and work-related concerns.
From this, an initial treatment plan is developed. This will include medication as well as psychotherapy. The specific form of psychotherapy is tailored to the needs of the patient. This treatment is only possible due to the extensive experience Dr. Spector has acquired over the years with various types of psychotherapy.
As patients continue, their treatment plan evolves. Their needs may change over time, and their response will dictate how their treatment plan should/should not be modified.
